BOA Accreditations for Certified Public Accountants (CPA)

After passing the Professional Regulation Commission Certified Public Accountant Board Examination, CPAs can apply for the following accreditations:

• CPAs in Public Practice;

• CPAs in Commerce and Industry; and

• CPAs in Education.

As a minimum requirement, CPAs in Public Practice and CPAs in Commerce and Industry must have at least three (3) years meaningful experience.

For the accreditation of CPAs in Education, the educational requirements depend on the educational institution where the CPAs are employed.  A Certificate of Employment must be submitted along with other requirements.

Welcome to my Blog!

Hello!  I'm Roselle A. Honofre and welcome to my blog.  I’m a Certified Public Accountant by profession.  I have work experiences in the fields of public practice as an External Associate Auditor; in Commerce and Industry as Business Controls Specialist, Accounting Manager and currently as a Finance and Accounting Manager; and in Academe as a part-time instructor of Basic Accounting, Cost Accounting, Financial Accounting 2 and Auditing Problems.  Further, I have the opportunity to work with various companies in the implementation of SAP Business One as a Project Manager.

Because of the recent changes in the Professional Regulation Commission, I was inspired to create this blog.  Please feel free to comment or share your insights about the posts.
